Artist's Comments
Kind of a sequel to the other Dragonfly painting, except the dragonflies are (a little) less podlike in appearance, and there's two more of them. I sense INSECT MATING has occured! The dragonfly on the lower part of the painting actually has a complete set of wings, but I couldn't get an evenly-lit photo of the whole canvas, so the tips of his wings had to be left out of this shot. Sounds like a small thing, but it makes a difference! This was done for a charity auction. I've forgotten how big the canvas is, but it's a pretty good sized one, so let's say. . .

You technique has really brought a delicate feel to the picture.
it really calms me down for some reason...nice to look at it.
i really like the detail you put into the wings in contrast to the rather simple background. and i dig the squares in the bg...dunno why...but i just keep staring at them
